That’s the direction he rides

That’s the direction he rides.
That’s the way he comes.
Hills and hillsides weren’t always
Strict on cowboy and native American policy.
Sometimes children from the suburban suburbs
Could ride a lasso thru town all the way
To hillside.
The clouds touched down on patented skies.
skewbald horses on my back touch down
from landing ledges morgan’s steep
and contempt should know better than to mess with this.
New homes and new precipitation
New views new windows, new pictures
New paintings. New squares and rectangles
And points of vision.
Flaherty lives among landscapes,
Google lives among our most intimate holes.
