letter to democracy now! staff

To Democracy Now! Staff, I watched an American Perspective special on PBS last night pertaining to Richard Nixon. I saw hundreds of thousands flock to the nation's capital and wondered why we're not seeing these massive mobilizations against the current ongoing wars and the justice system violations of the Bush administration. I feel like through contemporary organization methods like email newsletters, facebook, etc, and some forceful words from forceful figures (juan and amy) we could have them barricading off the white house soon enough. Nothing infuriates me more than the absolute dismissal from this Administration and current Congress (including the dem and repub presidential nominees) of issues crucial to the survival of this country, our constitution, and our justice system. How do we rally around one cause and create the same climate as in the 60's marches on the Mall? Sincerely, Ryan J. Gordon 27 years old San Diego
